Áella is our ground-floor studio apartment, named after the force-of-nature Amazon Áella, daughter of the mythological god of war, Ares, and the goddess Armonia, Harmony, being the personification of strong gusts of wind and windstorms.
A whimsical allusion to the constant flow of energy in this room. Water, the endless ocean, the sun, the earth, the Cretan summer breeze.

Áella allows you to walk directly onto the patio and enjoy the sun as it rises above the horizon...Swim in the pool just in front of the room or sunbathe on the sun loungers and read your books.

Stepping into Áella now, you will notice its airiness. An ethereal open-space room, where you will find the most comfortable sofa to rest and enjoy the white 42'' smart TV or read a couple more chapters from your book (let's not forget to mention that there will always be a small selection of titles in each room if you feel like reading something extra)

On your left, nested there to make the best of the full breeze coming from the patio doors, is a small dining table for your meals and snacks.

Moving on, you will find our Karup design bed with its futon cotton mattress and custom-made light blue nightstands.

In the full-size closet you can find many of the rooms' amenities (pillows, duvet, fluffy bathrobes, extra towels, a safe box and an iron/ironing board for your clothes).

Following is our cozy signature kitchen that blends the old and the new quite seamlessly, while being modern and designed for comfort and ease of use. Vintage ivory and light blue appliances add a touch of luxury without being overstated. In Áella's kitchen you will find a full-size refrigerator, stovetop and oven (we loved their old-fashioned details at first glance) as well as a microwave/grill oven, panini sandwich maker, toaster, electric kettle, filter coffee maker, blender/chopper, utensils and cooking utensils. Water and wine glasses, and a collection of cups for your warmer beverages, in earthy tones to match the kitchen cabinets and red brick tiles that are reminiscent of dollhouses...

White cooking pots and pans of stunning simplicity and ergonomic beauty to aid you in cooking a simple or more complex meal for your loved ones. And then everything can be loaded in the dishwasher, no harm, no foul!

On the left of this small kitchen nook, is the bathroom, a quiet, clean-cut space with grey tiles, anthracite grey appliances and facilities, a glass shower cabin and a few quirky details (like our wooden mirror). Fragrant shower essentials, white towels and anthracite ones for the pool. The bathroom also features a front-loading washing machine.

Áella will stay in your memories forever and if you choose to visit us again, you will find it the same, but only better!
